When you login to a SAP server, there is a small field where language is stated, like: EN
If you want to change that default language so you don't always have to write your own (IT, RO etc.), on the SAP PAD (before you click your SAP server to enter login settings:
- on the top left there is a symbol next to the name of the window (in my case, a symbol next to SAP Logon 730)
- click on the symbol and choose Options
- [left side of the window] under SAP Logon Options branch
- [left] click General
- [right side of the window] there is a dropdown list for language set to EN (or whatever default is) and you choose the new default
- click OK button on the window
- you will receive a message telling you that your changes will take place the next time you open SAP, just click yes
- SAP PAD will close and upon restarting it, and starting any of your servers, the default language will be the one you set
