I've got several software from several websites, but tested only a 2 of them and they worked.
You just need an icon creator (it might as well be MS Paint) and save your creations as .ico files (first software).
Then you can use GConvert (available for 15 trial days) or use a free tool created by AutoIT user Inpho and found on their forums (all credits to Inpho and whoever else participated):

Make sure you put it in a folder because it will create a few files, like language files and some tools.

Note: This creates the DLL file in C:\ so if you don't have admin access, this won't work (even if it says it created the DLL, you won't see it because it's not there).
