The file saved as DOTM (macro enabled file, eg. CUSTOMRIBBON.DOTM) will be copied to the Word startup folder which is located here:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
Replace YOURUSERNAME with your own.
Or, you can simply navigate to it using:
%AppData%\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
