WORD:

1. select a line of text or text in a table (or anywhere), press CTRL then drag the text with your mouse to another place / cell in the table (can be another document) and you will COPY / DUPLICATE that text.

2. select a line of text, then press CTRL+SHIFT and drag that text to another place and you will have a link containing that text. If you modify the original text and update the link in the copied text, you will have the modifications also in the second place.

Ctrl+Alt+Z to automatically go back to where your cursor has been previously

SHIFT+F5 goes back to up to three editing points, and when you press it a fourth time, it returns to where you started. When you open a document, it only “remembers” the last editing point.

Excel - NAVIGATE TO FIRST AND LAST SHEET

Before Office 2013 there were 2 additional buttons in the bottom left corner to navigate to first and last sheet.

Since Office 2013 they removed those buttons and you only have the arrows to navigate sheets 1 by 1 (1 to the left, 1 to the right).

To navigate to first sheet and last sheet, press CTRL and then left click on those arrows.

Display the relationships between formulas and cells

Source:

1. To display a tracer arrow to each cell that is dependent on the active cell, on the FORMULAS tab, in the Formula Auditing group, click Trace Precedents or Trace Dependents Button.

Blue arrows show cells with no errors. Red arrows show cells that cause errors. If the selected cell is referenced by a cell on another worksheet or workbook, a black arrow points from the selected cell to a worksheet icon Worksheet icon . The other workbook must be open before Excel can trace these dependencies.

2. To identify the next level of cells that depend on the active cell, click Trace Dependents Button image again.

3. To remove tracer arrows one level at a time, starting with the dependent cell farthest away from the active cell, on the Formulas tab, in the Formula Auditing group, click the arrow next to Remove Arrows, and then click Remove Dependent Arrows Button image . To remove another level of tracer arrows, click the button again.
