To insert a slicer for a Table or PivotTable (works only for these), just click anywhere inside the table and go to INSERT - SLICER, then select de desired filter and click OK.
How to customize slicer buttons - sort them in a different order
You have to create a custom list with the buttons inside the slicer. To do that:
- go to FILE - Options - Advanced
- scroll all the way down and click the Edit Custom Lists button
- in the List entries field insert your desired order for the buttons - 1 button on each line (separate them with enter)
- click the Add button, then OK and OK
- first sort your slicer Z to A, then A to Z to obtain the desired order
