It happened that I added green shading to some cells in a column and even though I keep removing the shading for new rows on that column, the shading constantly appears for every new row.
I found 2 solutions for this, the one that solved my problem was no 1. below:
1.
Highlight the messed up area of your table Select the "Clear" tab in the "editing" tab of "Home" Select "clear formatting" |
Then reformat any table borders, font etc. and new rows will have the default shading.
2.
I had the same problem for one column, it used to set forecolor of one column to red for each new row I added to the table.
To resolve this click on the header of a column then right click and choose "Format Cells" option and set the desired format. After this new row will use this format for selected column. You can specify the format for other / all columns like this. |
