So I had a chart showing 4 vertical columns, the first 3 summed up to the 4 (Grand Total). The chart was made from a Pivot table and it used Slicers to dynamically change data.
But for some options of the Slicer the value in the Pivot table was zero and by default not showing in the Pivot and thus missing from the chart where 3 columns appeared, 2 then the Grand Total which moved from 4 position to third.
In order to show those values in the Pivot and not ruin your chart, you can do the following (credits to Kevin Rudolph from source below):
I solved this by clicking on the field in which you want to keep zeros resident (e.g., Time), click on "Field Settings" then the "Layout & Print" tab, then check the "Show Items with no data" box. Hope this helps someone. |
