Motherboard type
1. Start - Run - powershell
2. wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber
3. Enter
You will get Manufacturer (eg. Gigabyte) and Product (MB type).

You can also find Motherboard type via:
1. Start - run - msinfo32
2. System Summary - BaseBoard Manufacturer and BaseBoard Product you will get the same info as from powershell
BIOS version
1. Start - Run - powershell
2. Get-WmiObject win32_bios
3. Enter
You will get Manufacturer and SMBIOSBIOSVersion. Also other info.
You can also find BIOS version via:
1. Start - run - msinfo32
2. System Summary - SMBIOS Version (note that this is different from the one obtained via powershell above - at least it is different for me).
3. System Summary - BIOS Version / Date you get the same info as from powershell
