If you want to color Top 3 values in different color each, eg.:
- highest value - green
- 2nd highest value - yellow
- 3rd highest value - red
1. Select desired range.
2. Make one conditional formatting rule for Top 3 and color it in red. All three highest values should be red.
3. Make another conditional formatting rule for Top 2 and color it in yellow. The two highest values should be yellow and the 3rd should be red.
4. Make a 3rd conditional formatting rule for Top 1 and color it in green. The highest value is now green, 2nd is yellow and 3rd is red.
It's all about the order of the rules.
