Since bookmark must start with a letter (can't start with a number), there is an added T_ in front of the datestamp.
Sub DateStamp()
Dim strDate As String
strDate = Format(Date, "T_yyyymmdd") & Format(Time, "hhmm")
Selection.Text = strDate
Selection.Bookmarks.Add strDate
