Say you want to disable Google weather notification because you want to use a third party app for weather instead.
1. Open the app drawer and look for the Google icon (usually has a G)
2. Tap on it and you should see a news page with a search bar on top and your account picture on the top right
3. Tap the account picture and then Settings
4. Tap Notifications and then tap the Notifications - On option
5. Scroll down a bit and under the Notification categories look for "Current weather conditions"
6. Tap that and disable the "Show notifications" slider
