This can be done faster, see post #2
I want to generate letters M or F in 300 cells, but this can't simply be done with the formulas from source.
First, I made the formula from Source to show me 2 consecutive letters, so in cell D2: =CHAR(RANDBETWEEN(76;77)) will randomly show either letters L or M
Dragged down 300 cells, then copied and pasted them as values, so rand between doesn't change the letters on every sheet calculation.
Now in E2 I wrote the following formula and dragged it down 300 rows. It will show M if M is displayed in column D, and it will show F for every L displayed in column D: =IF(D2="M";"M";"F")
Then copied this and pasted it into column D, thus obtaining my desired random M or F.

This can be done easier by adapting the formula from here:
The formula becomes: =CHOOSE(RANDBETWEEN(1;2);"M";"F")
