Interesting video by ThioJoe shows this neat and useful option to restart PC to BIOS with ease - from a simple Desktop shortcut.
1. Right click Desktop or a folder of your desire
2. Click New - Shortcut
3. Type the following line in the "Location of the item" field:
| cmd.exe /k shutdown /r /fw /t 1 |
Note: fw stands for firmware, which it this case is actually the BIOS. For more info on the command line above make sure to check the Source video by ThioJoe.
4. Click Next and provide an appropriate name for this shortcut (e.g., Start PC to BIOS) then click Finish
Feel free to provide it with a nice icon if the default cmd icon is not nice.
