Made some LAMBDAs there, but wanted them also in cells, proving what they do, with few instructions nearby. Because I wanted them in cells, Excel kept asking me to save PERSONAL.XLSB
To make that stop but keep saving them in PERSONAL.XLSB and have them prove what they do at the same time, one option would be:
Force Personal.xlsb to Auto-Save Silently
Add the following VBA snippet in ThisWorkbook of Personal.xlsb:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose(Cancel As Boolean) ThisWorkbook.Save End Sub |
That way, Excel just saves Personal.xlsb automatically when closing, and it won’t prompt you anymore.

Safer option would be to simply save the LAMBDAs in a separate Excel file, with proof of concept and all.
You can make a table of contents to the file as well, have some short descriptions only, then hyperlink the sheet and find usage and examples.
