In cell G15 I have the following strings: *2,15

I want to remove the * and display the number in another cell (for a sum I have to make).

I have to use the following formula:

=SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(G15;"*";"");"*";"")

The formula doesn't affect cells which don't contain the * character, displaying their full content.
