Install Java using the Command prompt method:
Go to start - run and type CMD, then press enter.
Once in CMD, navigate to the directory where you downloaded the java installation kit.
Then type:
jre-7u55-windows-i586-iftw.exe SPONSORS=0
or
jdk-7u71-windows-i586.exe SPONSORS=0
or
whatever is the name of your file. You can rename it to "whatever" and then you will have to write in CMD: whatever.exe SPONSORS=0

For those who already installed Java and its crapware, here's what to do:
Open Notepad or another text editor, copy the following text, and paste it into a new text file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft]
"SPONSORS"="DISABLE"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JavaSoft]
"SPONSORS"="DISABLE"
Save the file and give it the .reg file extension, then import it into the registry.
