This works only for Name and Surname, like Brittany Winters. It won't work for 3-word names.

Names are in cells A1:A300.
B1 =LEFT(A1;SEARCH(" ";A1)-1)
C1 =RIGHT(A1;LEN(A1)-LEN(B1)-1)
