key words: excel online browser regional settings
I noticed my Excel Online (browser) does not have regional settings for Romania, so it will generally show files in English regional settings.
Since I want . as thousands separator and the date format as I like them, I wanted to change to the regional settings I use in my installed Excel app.
In browser Excel, in any open Excel file, go to File - Options (at the very bottom of File) - Regional Settings, and change to desired.
