If the default method doesn't work (writing AA, AB in first two rows and then dragging down from the right bottom corner), you could use a formula:
=CHAR((ROW(A1)-1)/26+65)&CHAR(MOD(ROW(A1)-1;26)+65)
Note: if this gives an error, replace the ; character with , character.
