Software Reporter Tool often uses lots of CPU and memory.
There are 7 methods at source, I'm only listing the first below.
1. Click the 3 dots on the top right corner
2. Select Settings
3. Click on Advanced on the left
4. Click on System
5. Disable Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed
6. Click on Clean up computer (at the bottom of the System page)
7. Uncheck Report details to Google about harmful software, system settings, and processes that were found on your computer during cleanup[
