1. Go to Insert (ribbon) > Text section (right side) > Quick Parts (drop-down) > Field
2. Under Field names look for NumPages, NumWords, NumChars, Date, Time etc.
Be careful! The date of the field might not be refreshed by itself, so make sure to periodically right click the field and select Update Field, to make sure the date is accurate.
