Some documents simply won't let you convert all their pages to a certain size. You'd select Whole document, change to A5 and it would do 1 page.
Luckily there's a very simple code to convert all pages at once for an entire document.
To batch change size of pages in multiple documents in a folder, check Source.
Here's the code for 1 document's pages to A5.
Sub Pages_to_A4()
With ActiveDocument.PageSetup
.PaperSize = wdPaperA5
End With
