1. Create a new shortcut
2. Type the location of the item: explorer.exe shell:RecycleBinFolder
3. Click Next and name it Recycle Bin
4. Right click the newly created shortcut, Properties, Change Icon
5. You can browse for
- the shell32.dll file in C:\Windows\System32 to locate the recycle bin icon,
- or the imageres.dll in %SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll
6. Select the desired icon then click OK, OK.
7. Move it to where you desire, then right click it and choose Pin to Start Menu / Taskbar
