I've added 3 e-mails to my Outlook and now if I add an Outlook shortcut to shell:startup, 3 instances of Outlook open when I start Windows, one for each e-mail.
To fix this and allow only 1 instance to run, do this:
1. Open start - run - shell:startup
2. Right click your Outlook shortcut and select Properties
3. At the end of the Target field add: /recycle
.....eg..... "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle
4. Click OK, then try to open multiple instances of Outlook
