1. Open "Device Manager" and click on the "View" tab, then select "Show Hidden Devices"
2. Scroll down to "Non-Plug and Play Drivers" and double click to expand, then double click on "Beep" to open the "Beep Properties" dialog box.
3. In the "Beep Properties" dialog box, select the "Driver" tab, there you have the option to "Stop" the service and in the "Startup" "Type:" drop down menu you have the option to "Disable" the beep.
