For some reason this sometimes appears even for files that are not harmful to your computer.
If you want to disable it, knowing what's secure or not for your PC, do this:
1. In Chrome address bar paste and load the following page: chrome://flags/#treat-unsafe-downloads-as-active-content
2. Set "Treat risky downloads over insecure connections as active mixed content" as DISABLED
3. Click the "Relaunch" button
The workaround above may not work for all users. In case that doesn't work for you, also try the following:
1. Click on Chrome’s menu and go to Settings
2. Then click on Privacy and Security (left pane)
3. Scroll down to Security
4. Set Safe Browsing to No Protection (not recommended)
5. Reload Chrome and check if the security alert is gone now
